Light, I believe,
An unknown concept.
Flashes of red and black,
Like a painter being cathartic,
Are those birds?
There is pain,
At the start:
There is always pain.
But then,
There is light.
The golden veil of sunlight wrapped the canopy,
Ripe apples strung from branches,
glinting like
Rubies.
The wind galloped through the trees beside the river:
It meandered about,
caressing the branches,
tickling the leaves as they quivered with laughter.
The glassy river gleamed as it rebounds the facets of light,
Mirroring the sky,
fleecy snow-coloured clouds
with
a breeze combining through the clearing.
Ignorant of the beauty
This universe
Held,
I laughed before.
Tears spring to my eyes
Now
I am home.
People shouting,
Screaming,
Hugging,
Crying.
Endless chaos,
Endless love.
